Users have 85 points to select the 10 contestants for their Rodeo Team. The point values are based on standings at the time of team selection
The objective of the game is to select a team; using no more than 85 points, that will win the most money by, the end of the regular season (up to but not including the NFR).
The winner will be the team that has the highest total regular season earnings of all ten members of their team combined.
The winner of the Regular Season Game will have a choice of: A trip to Las Vegas, NV and two tickets to one round of the NFR including round-trip airfare* for two and two night’s hotel accommodations (*Continental US only, all taxes, fees and other transportation not included); Or $1,000.00 CASH! Runner-up will receive $500.00 CASH.
*Prizes are based on a minimum of 200 Teams see Terms of Use for details and eligibility.
In case of identical teams being selected by different participants the tie-breakers will be as follows:
The winner will be determined by the one that had the closest guess to the total earnings of their team.
If there is still a tie, the winner will be determined by the date and time of team purchase, the first team purchased will be the winner.
All new users must sign up first and then login to create a team. Users may create as many teams as they want; the cost is $9.95 per team for the Regular Season Game.
The deadline to create a team for the regular season game will be 09/28/2005.
Keep in mind when you are selecting team members that the object of the game is to select a team that earns the most money at the end of the “Regular season”; this includes the money that they have already won at the time you are selecting them. You should look at every event carefully and see where you can get the most “bang for the buck”. In some events it may be worth using the points to pick the person that is at the top of the standings, while in other events you may think that a contestant that is lower in the standings has some great earning potential.
Don’t Wait! If you think you can put together a good team right now waiting could ruin it for more than one reason; for one thing some of the contestants that you like could have a big weekend and move up in the standings, which means next week they will be worth more points. For example, if you pick a team now and use a total of 85 points and have several contestants move up in the standings over the weekend, next week they will be worth more points which means someone else could not pick the same team because they would be worth more than the 85 points allowed but you already have them if you don’t wait. Also the time of team creation is the second tie-breaker so do not delay!
